The same photo as the previous image, but here I did a quick darkening of the bright areas in the background. I hope you can see the difference compared to the original photo. Here your eye naturally falls on Amanda's lovely face when you look at the photo, without the bright background to interfere. Bad backgrounds can ruin a good portrait. So, examine the backgrounds in the viewfinder and correct any problems before you press the shutter.
