This is an image of Mark lit only with the room lights and made with the camera setting used for the studio strobe lighting. This should demonstrate that the room lights don't affect the photos made of the models with the strobes. This is the way it should be done. The settings for this image were f-5.6, 1/160 sec, and ISO 200. Slowing the shutter speed setting on the camera would allow the room lights to have more influence. Ask questions in class if you don't understand this.
