The model is Rachel V. This class demonstrate the use of a basic 5 light studio setup. The background was a grey muslin. There was a main light to camera right, a fill light on the left close to the camera, a hair light, and two background lights. The background lights were turned off after image HHC3-1263.

Sometimes the model will move back underneath the hair light. Here the hair light is causing a bright edge on her right arm and hand. The model can't see this, so it is up to the photographer to notice the problem and make a correction.
