This photo is a hybrid "butterfly lighting" effect. The reflector below her face didn't bounce adequate light to fill in the shadow cast by her chin. Although, it did bounce nice light into her left eye. Her body being turned also didn't help in creating a classic butterfly lighting effect. These are things the photographer is responsible for noticing and correcting (if desired). This is also a good example of "broad lighting," where the camera is looking at the side of the face without the shadows. Next. . .
