BLR5-51971 (A,Radius8,Smoothing4)-Edit

I've been seeing these small spiders (the size of a rice grain) in their webs spun in the tops of tall grass seed heads. It was a challenge to figure out how to photograph them. Yesterday I walked a circle around the seed head and this lighting suddenly became apparent. I handheld the camera to line up the spider with the background lighting and made several focus-stacked image series. This was the best final image. (Canon R5 and Canon EF 70–300mm f/4–5.6 IS II USM lens, 5 image focus stack)
