I've been seeing these small spiders (the size of a rice grain) in their webs spun in the tops of tall grass seed heads. It was a challenge to figure out how to photograph them. Yesterday I walked a circle around the seed head and this lighting suddenly became apparent. I handheld the camera to line up the spider with the background lighting and made several focus-stacked image series. This was the best final image.
